Meet Keren

I help people on a journey of self-discovery, empowerment, and transformational change.

My journey to coaching started in a cafe... I was sitting with a coffee when I overheard two women discussing their teenage children and the stress and struggles they were going through on a daily basis.

As a mother of three and a grandmother, I knew that feeling all too well. I listened to what they were saying and told them what I’d heard, which was that they already had the answers but hadn’t realised until I’d reflected them back. They asked if I could come back every week to talk with them…

It was at that moment that I realised the real value of coaching. Unlike giving advice, coaching can unlock the solutions you already have and find truths you weren’t previously aware of. It can give you a deeper understanding of yourself and lead to meaningful and lasting change helping you to move forward in your thinking, being and doing.

Stones of Meaning

During 15 years of teaching and 15 years as a director of a financial services company, I would often talk to my colleagues and team members about their issues both inside and outside of work, including the struggles of:

  •     Juggling work and parenting

  •     Maintaining relationships

  •     Dating

  •     Managing the stresses of working

  •     Parenting challenges with children and teenagers

  •     Building confidence

  •     Managing overwhelm wherever it showed up

  •     Career development and change

“I've been the expert and given people advice and helped them move along with their careers. But this is a different journey, because with life coaching, we're coming together as equal partners. Everything I do, I'm doing in service of my clients.”

- Keren

After a 30 year career, we sold our financial services company. I spent the next few years travelling and then renovating a house. It then came to a point when I decided that I wanted to give back. To help people when they need it most, to remove the blockages holding them back from a happier, calmer, and easier life, where they wake up feeling confident and in control.

I am now a qualified EMCC Accredited Life Coach, Senior Practitioner. I’m committed to guiding my clients on the path to self-discovery, understanding, and profound transformation, offering strategies tailored to each person’s unique needs and goals.

Together we’ll work on:

  •    Gaining clarity around your goals and aims

  •    Changing negative thought patterns and beliefs

  •    Unblocking the unconscious barriers that might be      holding you back

  •    Shifting your mindset and gaining self-awareness

  •    Creating a space of accountability and support

Keren provided valuable guidance during a time when I needed to make important life decisions. Her approach was thoughtful and professional, helping me to gain clarity and consider my options carefully.

The sessions offered practical advice and insightful questions that supported my decision-making process. I found her support helpful in moving forward with greater confidence. I would recommend Keren to anyone looking for assistance in navigating personal or professional challenges.

- Stella

When I first started working with Keren, I was navigating a whirlwind of challenges in my life, feeling overwhelmed and unsure of my path.

I can genuinely say that my life looks completely different now than it did before I met Keren. I am thriving in ways I never thought possible, and a huge part of that is due to her guidance. I cannot recommend her enough to anyone seeking to become the best version of themselves. Keren has a remarkable gift, and I am so grateful for the impact she has had on my journey. Thank you, Keren!

- Jill

"Whether it was help with setting boundaries or with my business, each session was what it needed to be and I loved Keren’s approach and the amount of space she gave me to discuss my thoughts. One exercise that really stood out for me was the future pacing exercise that helped me to see my future outcome and to break down the steps that I needed to achieve that outcome.
Keren has a very calm approach and provided a safe space for me to tell her things that I don’t usually voice to anyone including negative beliefs that I have about myself.

My journey to coaching

Life as a Teacher

My career started with teaching.

Teaching is all about understanding, listening and working with individuals to help them be the best they can possibly be. As a teacher, you focus on every single person in the classroom and your role is to bring out the best in them, to nurture and encourage them.

Teaching was an ideal starting point for me because it honed my skills of appreciating every person as an individual with their own unique ideas, opinions, and challenges.

When you're teaching, every day is a new day and every day that child comes into that classroom is a new day. You don't judge them on what's gone before, you judge them on that day and that day alone.

Every child gets a fresh start, every child has the opportunity to develop, without judgement or bias. At its core, teaching is about helping children on a journey of self-discovery and personal growth. And I believe adults need that same help too.

Life as a Managing Director

Working for a financial services company and managing a team was similar to the classroom in many ways, but also a completely different challenge.

With adults, my role was about mentoring. I was the expert but I also learned as much as I could. I used all my skills every single day.

What I quickly noticed as a manager was how people would come to me with all of their problems, challenges, and worries. Not just at work but in every aspect of their lives. I became a mentor for my team both in their professional and personal lives.

At that time, I had three children. I was running a business with my husband,  working all day, every day and into the evenings. We also had dogs. We had cats. We had hamsters, guinea pigs, rabbits, you name it, we had it.

During this period it felt like I was doing everything. And while it taught me lots of different skills, it was also a time when I had to deal with a lot of stress, pressure, and fears.

My coaching mission

As a working mother, I had so many things to juggle for so many years and this has given me a deep understanding and empathy for what lots of us go through on a daily basis in a normal life. Now as a grandmother, I see my adult children going through similar challenges.

We all have to respond to life and the demands it has on us. And sometimes that can be really, really hard.

It’s easy to get lost.

I can remember there were times when I was so lonely and so confused, I was just desperate to find my way. And in those times, you have to dig really deep.

But then, someone comes along at the right moment to listen, hear what you are saying and help you move forwards in your thinking, being and doing.

Just talking to someone, who is non judgemental, in a confidential space can help you find what you're looking for. Helping you unlock what's inside of you and find yourself again. Help you achieve your goals, whether its being able to prioritise your to do list, find time in your day for yourself, build the confidence you need to get another job or whatever else matters in your life!

It’s my personal mission to be that someone.

“People feel they can talk to me because they know that what they say to me will not go any further and they will not be judged. They come to me, and they can bring anything, and I'm there for it.”

Keren

How I help others

Every person is different. There’s no one-size-fits-all approach to feeling happier, balanced, calmer, and more confident. And what works for one person won’t necessarily be right for you.

In every coaching session I give you the space to talk and share and be listened to. Every session is unique to you and where you are in your real life in that moment. We work together as partners. Focused exclusively on what matters to you and what you need to get from the session.

My promise to you is this:

If you come to our coaching session with an open mind, I will give you the space and freedom to be vulnerable, be honest, and be heard without any judgement, bias, or expectations. I will be here for you and listen to you in the way that you need. Bringing in whatever tools I need to help you in that moment.

Let’s work together to bring you back to who you’re meant to be. The best version of yourself. The person who is happier, more confident, and has the skills to better cope with whatever life throws at you.
